About Me

Hello, I am Roxanne Kopizenski, founder of Munich Integrative Psychotherapy. I was born, raised, and educated in the United States and have been living in Germany since 2015. My passion for understanding human behavior and supporting others began at the age of 10 and has guided my professional journey ever since.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, where I developed a strong interest in Behavioral Psychology, which inspired my pursuit of a career in psychotherapy. I went on to complete a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Direct Clinical Practice, and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist in the United States since 2015. In 2025 I received my license to practice as a Natural Healer for Psychotherapy in Germany.

Over the past 25 years, I have gained extensive clinical experience across diverse and high-acuity settings. I have worked in residential treatment centers for adolescents, provided crisis counseling for the Phoenix Fire Department, and served as a medical social worker in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Departments. My work in medical and psychiatric hospitals offered invaluable insight into human resilience, coping, and the complexities of life and death.

This breadth of experience has shaped my approach to psychotherapy, allowing me to bring both clinical expertise and deep empathy to my work with clients. I am committed to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

In 2023 I opened my private practice, serving expats in Germany. As an immigrant myself, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of adapting to a new country and culture. Over the past few years, I have enjoyed working with clients from all over the world who now call Germany home. I'm honored to be able to provide these services for my community and look forward to working with you!
